The Back to School Program has been helping to ensure the leaders of tomorrow - the young people in our community - have the basic tools they need to start the school year off successfully. This event is for school-aged children entering Transitional Kindergarten to 12th Grade. Note that proof of school admission may be requested. Children will receive a backpack full of school supplies and new clothes for the school year.
When is it scheduled for?
This event will be held in person on August 3rd, 2024, at Old Navy at Westgate Mall. More information regarding the event will be communicated to registered and certified participants closer to the day of the event.
How will it work this year?
At our annual Back to School Program, children are paired with an adult volunteer chaperone who will assist them with choosing the clothing they need for school. Each child will also receive a backpack.
All volunteers will be properly screened by WVCS.
