Back-To-School is a yearly event for school-aged children entering TK -12th Grade. This Special Program is intended to boost the students’ morale for the upcoming school year. Children will receive a backpack and new clothes for the school year.
When and Where is it?

This event will be held in person on August 2nd, 2025 at Old Navy at Westgate Mall.

You will receive a confirmation slip with your registration number and arrival time, when you verify you are certified and completed registration. You must present the Confirmation Receipt at the time of the event.

Who can Register?

Clients need to be Certified before or at the time of registration to qualify for the program. Must live in zip codes: 95014, 95030, 95032, 95033, 95070, 95129, 95130

If they are not in zip code, refer them to the EAN network.
How do I (re)certify for the event?

Recertifications are done everyday by appointment ONLY.

Documents required to recertify are: Valid ID for all adult family members, Proof of Income (paystubs or benefit letters) Most recent PG&E bill (within last 30 days)

If you are a new market client and unable to get an appointment before June 28th, then please email specialprograms@wvcommunityservices.org
Do I have to pay?
No. This event is free and funded through our generous donors.
What if I do not have a paystub?
It is ok, please still come in and see a case manager.
Note* New Clients must make an appointment with a case manager, through the front desk.
