Homeless Prevention Services (HPS) Intake Specialist​​​​
West Valley Community Services is currently hiring a Homelessness Prevention System (HPS)
Intake Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Program Manager -
Homelessness Prevention System (HPS), the HPS Intake Specialist supports the operations of the program by conducting client intakes, assessments (HPAT), workshops, outreach, and special
projects. This position also assists in regular file review for auditing, HMIS for data entry,
identifying areas of compliance, and supporting the team in administrative support of files,
HMIS, Salesforce, and referral engagement.

Community Access to Resources and Education
(CARE) Case Worker
West Valley Community Services is a nonprofit organization that has been providing safety net
services to low-income and homeless individuals and families in the West Valley region of Santa
Clara County for more than 52 years. The mission of West Valley Community Services is to unite
the community to fight hunger and homelessness. Our work is guided by the vision of a
community where every person has food on the table, and every person has a roof over their
head.
West Valley Community Services is currently hiring a CARE Case Worker to support the
Community Access to Resources and Education (CARE) program, including processing
Emergency Financial Assistance applications, workshops, outreach, and special projects.
Board of Director​​​​
West Valley Community Services (WVCS) is accepting applications for its volunteer board of directors. WVCS is a well-respected nonprofit community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to vulnerable residents of the West Valley communities of Santa Clara County for almost 50 years—the mission of WVCS is to unite the community to fight hunger and homelessness. If you are passionate about helping fight hunger and homelessness, please consider serving on our board.
We are particularly looking for individuals with skills in legal, finance, and fundraising. WVCS is committed to inclusion and diversity and ensuring that our board reflects the wide range of families in our communities; therefore, we highly encourage people of color, those who identify as LGBTQIA, adults over 18, and those with lived experience to apply.
