Homeless Prevention Services (HPS) Intake Specialist​​​​
West Valley Community Services (WVCS) is currently hiring an HPS Intake Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Program Manager - Homelessness Prevention System (HPS), the HPS Intake Specialist supports the operations of the program by conducting client intakes, assessments (HPAT), workshops, outreach, and special projects. This position also assists in regular file review for auditing, HMIS for data entry, identifying areas of compliance, and supporting the team in administrative support of files, HMIS, Salesforce, and referral engagement.

Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Rehabilitation Construction Contract
To Prospective Respondents:
You are invited to submit a quote for the rehabilitation of 3 residential units at Vista
Village, as called for in the Project Description and Scope of work. The improvements
are to be made for and under contract with West Valley Community Services, the owner
of the property. Disbursements of funds for the improvements will be approved by the
owner and a representative of the City of Cupertino’s Housing Department.
All General Contractors interested in submitting an RFQ MUST attend the mandatory
walk-through and sign the sign-in sheet. The walk-through is NOT mandatory for
sub-contractors or suppliers. Please read all of the information in the attached package HERE.
Directions to submit a complete RFQ are included.

West Valley Community Services (WVCS) is accepting applications for its volunteer board of directors. WVCS is a well-respected nonprofit community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to vulnerable residents of the West Valley communities of Santa Clara County for almost 50 years—the mission of WVCS is to unite the community to fight hunger and homelessness. If you are passionate about helping fight hunger and homelessness, please consider serving on our board.
We are particularly looking for individuals with skills in legal, finance, and fundraising. WVCS is committed to inclusion and diversity and ensuring that our board reflects the wide range of families in our communities; therefore, we highly encourage people of color, those who identify as LGBTQIA, adults over 18, and those with lived experience to apply.
