Assistant Program Manager - Homelessness Prevention System (HPS)

Homelessness Prevention System (HPS) program and work with low-income families to prevent
and end homelessness by providing one-time and short term financial assistance,
strength-based case management, advocacy, landlord mediation, outreach and other
supportive services that result in maintaining stable, permanent housing.

West Valley Community Services (WVCS) is accepting applications for its volunteer board of directors. WVCS is a well-respected nonprofit community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to vulnerable residents of the West Valley communities of Santa Clara County for almost 50 years—the mission of WVCS is to unite the community to fight hunger and homelessness. If you are passionate about helping fight hunger and homelessness, please consider serving on our board.

 

We are particularly looking for individuals with skills in finance and fundraising. WVCS is committed to inclusion and diversity and ensuring that our board reflects the wide range of families in our communities; therefore, we highly encourage people of color, those who identify as LGBTQIA, adults over 18, and those with lived experience to apply.
 

We are inviting applicants from our community of donors, families, and leaders, especially from the areas that we serve. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis beginning in December of 2023.
