A Special Father's Day Gift
Help another, in honor of your Father, this Father's Day!
Share Your Love !

Join us as we honor the hard working fathers and father figures. This Father’s Day, we invite you to honor your father, husband, grandfather, brother, son, partner, teacher or any other loved one, by making a Father’s Day donation to urgently support families in need.
In recognition of your support, West Valley Community Services will email a personalized Father’s Day e-card to your loved one letting them know a gift was made in their honor (we do not share donation amounts). Please make sure to include your loved one's name and contact information in the donation form.
Luke, a father of three children, was separated from his family during the pandemic. In addition to the loss of employment, several bouts of COVID-19, and foot infections, his income was sparse. He had to forego custody of his children due to limited income. He moved into a shared room in a rental house and was homebound due to a lack of transportation and employment. Just a few weeks ago, Luke managed to make a little income with some side jobs, but again they provided inconsistent income.

Luke reached out to West Valley Community Services through the helpline a few months ago. He could not believe that anyone would care or would be interested in providing support.

Luke says, “I reached out to WVCS for financial aid because I was on the verge of being evicted. I was cared for and assured that I would not end up on the streets. My life has been a struggle, you wouldn’t really understand unless you lived it or living it. I never want my kids to experience the lifestyle I have but what I’m trying to say is I lost hope and didn't know what to do and I fell in the blessings of WVCS. I want to thank WVCS for their services so much.”
This is why WVCS exists. To help families like Luke's fight through these hard times. Help them survive. Help them not lose their homes, or go hungry.

This Father’s Day you can be a beacon of hope to many families experiencing a devastating time in their lives. You have the power to help people like Luke and so many other families facing evictions, job loss and struggling with hunger and homelessness. Each gift will help us assist even more families like his.
