BECOME A FINANCIAL COACH

West Valley Community Services Financial Empowerment Program is a three-month financial literacy program that empowers clients to gain key tools to manage their finances. We are seeking volunteer financial coaches with experience and knowledge necessary to help our clients. No formal financial background is necessary but volunteer coaches must have skill and desire to help clients with budget, debt management, understanding credit and basic financial fundamentals.
 

How does this work?

Coaches will meet with the client twice a month and work with the client on their individual goals. The sessions are about an hour long and can be virtual or in-person and scheduled based on mutually convenient dates and times.
 

Time Commitment

Program duration - 6 months

Sessions: 6 flexible sessions (2 per month)
