This Mother’s Day, we invite you to honor your mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, partner, teacher or other loved one by making a Mother’s Day donation to urgently support families in need.
You may also contribute in memory of a mother or mother figure who has passed away.

Amelia is a devoted single mother and grandmother, fiercely determined to keep her family together. But today, she and her daughter and young grandson are living in their car—without access to a shower, a safe place to sleep, or even a fresh start for work. She had no choice but to stop working. It’s nearly impossible to hold a job when each day is focused on survival. When Amelia came to West Valley Community Services, she wasn’t asking for a handout—she was asking for a chance. A chance to find stability. A chance to move into safe housing. A chance to rebuild her life. With your support, WVCS can help provide that lifeline. And she’s not alone. There are so many mothers in our community just like Amelia—doing everything they can, but still falling short without a helping hand.

This Mother’s Day, you can be that helping hand to mothers like Amelia. In honor of your mother or mother figure, please help another mother.

In recognition of your support, West Valley Community Services will email a personalized Mother’s Day e-card (see below for e-card options) to your loved ones letting them know a gift was made in their honor (we do not share donation amounts). Please make sure to include your loved one's name, email contact information, and choice of personalized e-card in the donation form.

Each gift will help us get a little bit closer to our goal to help families like Amelia and her children.
