Enjoy a little Taste of Compassion from a Chef of Compassion
This month's Taste of Compassion features authentic Moroccan cuisine infused with an urban California twist expertly crafted by Executive Chef Jay Essadki. Chef Jay showcased his culinary skills at last year's Chefs of Compassion: Cooking for a Cause event which challenged accomplished chefs to preparte a four-course dinner with ingredients found only from the WVCS food pantry. Get a taste of his delicious cuisine at Morocco's Restaurant, located at 873 Castro Street in Downtown Mountain View.

Reservations are available at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm.
Adults: $24 in advance, $26 at the door.
Kids: 12 in advance, $13 at the door.

Morocco's family-styled dining features dishes that are meant to be shared. Starters are portioned to share, and entrees are portioned to be for one person.
FIRST COURSE
Signature Lentil Salad - red onions and cilantro tossed with chilled green lentils in Morocco's cumin balsamic vinaigrette
Crab Briwatts* - silky phillo-dough turnovers filled with crab
SECOND COURSE
Ghicken Tangine* - slowly braised chicken leg with saffron, turmeric, and white pepper served with olives and homemade preserved lemons
Vegetarian Couscous - caramelized onions and garbanzo beans with vegetables
THIRD COURSE
Almont Paste Briwatts - silky phillo-dough dumpling with an almond paste filling
