Special Programs

Cupertino Parks and Recreation Fee Waivers - WVCS provides fee waivers to low income families with children for classes and events offered by Cupertino Parks and Recreation.

Seasonal Baskets - WVCS works with community groups to provide Spring, Summer and holiday food and treat baskets to help families celebrate the season.

Summer Camps - WVCS provides opportunities for low-income senior citizens and children from 7-18 to go to various summer camps with partnership through Hidden Villa , Salvation Army , Optimist Youth Camp.

Back-to-School Shopping Spree - The August event is supported by the Salvation Army and JCPenny Department Store. Volunteers chaperone 50 low income school children who are given a budget to shop for school clothes.

Back-to-School Back Packs - WVCS with the support from partner organizations provides school children with back packs filled with school supplies.

Thanksgiving - WVCS coordinates the distribution of holiday food baskets provided by various Faith based organizations.

Bowlmor - Bowlmor provides an experience to remember by providing shoes, balls, lanes, and a delicious Thanksgiving meal!

Adopt-A-Family - WVCS matches individuals, organizations and companies with low-income families so that those families may receive gifts, which they would not otherwise be able to afford.
